NetPoint inventories almost two-dozen types of hardware and software by polling your Windows domain. Polling can be triggered manually, on a scheduled basis, or via logon scripts. If you only need to inventory part of a domain, you can easily configure NetPoint to limit its scope to an organizational unit.

In addition to detecting recently installed hardware and software, NetPoint keeps an eye out for anything that has been uninstalled. You can subscribe to these notifications via RSS, so you'll be the first one to know when something has been added or removed from your network.
